Let the Headboard Work

You already know a headboard is the central focus of a bedroom: Now why not move the bed away from the wall and let the headboard go to work? A headboard can serve as a room divider, a bookcase, a computer table - even a wall.

Of course, you'll need to make a plan to use your bedroom's space in this way. Not all people have the room - or the need - for a headboard to double as a room divider. But for some, the versatility of a headboard can truly make a room into a multi-tasking paradise: a place to rest your head, get work done, watch TV - to do it all!

Two Rooms Out of One
Placing a bed in the middle of the room might not make sense at first glance, but if you have the right headboard, you can "double" your space - or at least the use of it. A tall headboard can serve as a room divider, or even as a wall. On one side of your headboard, you'll have the traditional bedroom, with a bed attached to the headboard. On the other side of the tall headboard, you can make a sitting area, a changing area, or even add a set of bookcases. Using a headboard in this way can truly make the most of your space.
