We bought this bed for our 2-year-old daughter who was transitioning from a crib. We had an extra Queen mattress so decided to get her a big bed that could last into her teens. After looking at the style of the Claudia bed from Pottery Barn, we decided the Molly Bed was close enough at 1/2 the price. My husband assembled the bed in about an hour (he is not that handy by the way!)and we popped in the mattress and box spring that we had (which is why I don't comment on comfort of the bed). Our daughter loves the bed, it looks pretty, and it even held up to her two cousins (7 and 9 years) jumping on it without moving or squeaking. Nice purchase!
