Purchased the headboard only in king size for a guest room. The first one arrived bent and had to be returned which was efficiently and easily accomplished. [...] The headboard is light weight and definitely brown in color, not bronze. The picture is obviously not of a king size headboard as there is a large gap on both ends of the headboard where there are no spindles making the headboard look like something is missing. The product description recommends using Hillsdale frames with their headboards for good reason. The headboard does not fit our bed frame properly and is wobbly. The legs do not reach the floor. We put a small block under each leg and it didn't help. We were disappointed because the headboard is much too informal, almost rustic in appearance, for the bedroom furniture we had selected to purchase for the room. I think, nevertheless, the headboard was a good value for the price. It does look great in the guest room, even with the old furniture. We probably would have been happier with something more expensive and,hopefuly,of better quality.
